Our Design Process
Before the Initial Consultation:
Getting all this information together will help reduce the amount of time we have to spend on the site visit, thus saving you money.
Initial Consultation:
In the initial meeting we will assess your landscape wants and needs. If available we will review your pictures and plans to evaluate what style and feel you want in your landscape. We will walk the desired landscape area to assess the environmental aspects of your site such as drainage, orientation, and exposure.
Pencil to Paper:
If extensive hardscape is involved an initial hardscape plan will be prepared. This plan will give locations of walks, drives, retaining walls, pools, arbors etc.
After the initial plan has been accepted we can complete a detailed master plan that will include all hardscape elements and plant names and layout.
Plan Presentation:
This is a very important step that will allow us the designer and you the client to brainstorm over the landscape plan and fine-tune the design. Our goal is to meet your needs and wants within your set budget. There may need to be an additional meeting to adjust the plan based on the notes from the initial meeting.
